Lengthwise reinforced. Filament tape is a PP tape (120 microns) with a Hotmelt adhesive that incorporates fibreglass. Fibreglass fibres makes the tape very strong and very nearly unbreakable. In addition, the tape has a high adhesiveness. The tape is available with fibreglass fibres incorporated lengthwise (lengthwise reinforced) and both lengthwise and breadthwise (cross reinforced).

The tape is very suitable for use on heavy boxes or boxes with high flap tension. The tape is frequently used to bundle products, e.g. metal profiles.
